Member 150 in MyBlogLog Community

About a week ago the Conceptisaddict community in MyBlogLog got its 150th member, Machine-Human. I had already decided that I will blog about it and to my great satisfaction the blog was very suitable for me to write about. The sites name is Machine-Human
- happy droids, sad robots and functional zombies and the description is

Machine-Human is a collection of links to websites about Technology, Human-Machine Interaction, Philosophy of Mind, Philosophy of Information, Creativity, Innovation, Artificial Intelligence, Meta-Perception, Physics, Mathematics, Science Fiction and a few cutting-edge news.

The list of this year's posts:

Beauty and truth in physics

Simplifying complex networks: from a clustering to a coarse graining strategy

Culture influences brain function

Mind reading is advancing

Iona

Math is beautiful

EPK_Cheoptics360_XL

My personal favourite is of course Math is beautiful. It provides a link to Benoit Mandelbrot Fractal Art Contest winners 2007. The images are really beautiful. I spent a long time trying to decide which is best and finally I chose this:

Bubbling Growth

Jussi Härkönen

The truth is that they were all so beautiful… Here the name of the artist was the final value :) It is clearly Finnish.

The first entry on the site is from 6th of November 2007. The links are absolutely great and each link has a description of the content and also a picture. I recommend to check the site. I spent a lot of time there and also will in the future.

Thanks for the nice post. Very glad to be the 150th (sounds odd cause generally we are glad to be the first or something). The Fractal you chose is really beautiful. Best regards,
Bernardo Alonso.
